Exploring Phuket: Your Free Time Itinerary During Andrea & Prem’s Wedding

As you join us in celebrating Andrea & Prem’s wedding in beautiful Phuket, we understand that you may wish to explore the island during your free time. While the wedding schedule is filled with unforgettable events, there are a few breaks that offer the perfect opportunity to experience Phuket’s rich culture, stunning beaches, and vibrant food scene. Here’s a suggested itinerary for your leisure hours.

July 6, 2025 – Arrival & Free Time Before the Mehendi Event

Morning (After Arrival & Check-In)
Guests arriving early can relax until official check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
For those eager to stretch their legs, a visit to Ao Yon Beach—just 5 to 10 minutes from the place—is perfect for a refreshing morning stroll by the sea.

Late Morning to Early Afternoon (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Option 1: Old Phuket Town & Café Hopping

  • Take a trip to the charming streets of Old Phuket Town (approximately 40 minutes from Cape Panwa).
  • Discover colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture and striking street art.
  • Enjoy an authentic Thai meal at the iconic Raya Restaurant.
  • Grab a coffee at The Memory at On On Hotel, Phuket’s oldest hotel, steeped in vintage charm.

Option 2: Coral Island Snorkeling & Beach Relaxation

  • Depart from Chalong Pier (around 30 minutes from guest’s stay).
  • Spend a few hours at Coral Island, enjoying snorkeling, lounging on the beach, or trying a banana boat ride.
  • Return to the hotel by 3:00 PM to freshen up for the Mehendi event.

Option 3: Spa & Relaxation at Sri Panwa

  • Indulge in a rejuvenating spa session at the luxurious Cool Spa
  • Spend the afternoon lounging by the infinity pool and enjoying cocktails at the scenic Baba Nest.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Buffet lunch at guest’s stay (open to all guests).

4:30 PM
Transport arranged to Sri Panwa for the Mehendi celebration.

July 7, 2025 – Free Time After the Wedding & Before the Cocktail Reception

12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Option 1: Private Longtail Boat to Nearby Islands

  • Depart from Ao Makham Pier.
  • Explore Koh Rang Yai, a peaceful island just 20 minutes away by boat, known for its white sand beaches.
  • Enjoy kayaking, sunbathing, or a relaxed seafood lunch at a beachfront shack.
  • Return to the hotel by 5:00 PM.

Option 2: Shopping & Local Food in Phuket Town

  • Visit Chillva Market (which opens in the afternoon) or explore Central Phuket Mall.
  • Sample local treats such as mango sticky rice, coconut ice cream, and a variety of street food specialties.
  • Walk around and soak in the sights and sounds of local culture.

Option 3: Sunset & Cocktails at Baba Nest

  • Reserve a table at Baba Nest (Sri Panwa) for a stunning sunset experience.
  • Enjoy signature cocktails while taking in sweeping ocean views from one of Phuket’s most picturesque locations.

The wedding team will not be managing or liable for any arrangements beyond the scheduled wedding events on July 6 and 7, 2025. We kindly ask that you plan your excursions in a way that ensures you don’t miss any part of Andrea & Prem’s celebration.
